Proud to be a Quack
The ASA has set up an area on its website which will name and shame non-complying digital advertisers.
Poor, innocent, complementary therapists! What a horrid bunch of people those regulators are!
How dare they trample on your human rights, denying you the chance to make a tidy profit from misleading your customers!
To show our support for their cause, whenever the ASA victimises an innocent quack in this way, we'll promote them as "Proud To Be A Quack".
We hope quacks will follow the advice of our impostors and wear this as a badge of honour. If you are a therapist that is prepared to continue breaking the law, then please copy the above image and add it to your website, ideally with a link back to their daft little website.
NB: Please check with your governing body that your website complies with UK legislation. The bodies which only exist because you send them a big fat membership fee once a year are obviously going to be a better source of legal advice than an independent regulator.
We need another word!
These idiots call themselves "regulators". We don't like using this word as it implies that they have a regulatory code that applies equally to everyone. In practice we rarely see any sign that these "regulators" are willing to ignore established science in favour of a bunch of claims we made up ourselves, just the other day.
